Data & Privacy

You can use Digital Bricks without creating an account. Building, saving local creations, importing .legox files, and exporting STL files happen in your browser.
Data stored on your device
Unpublished creations are stored in this browser's local storage. Clearing browser data will remove them. You can also save a .legox project file wherever you choose.
Accounts and public creations
The server processes account data only when you use Gallery publishing, likes, reports, or account features. Accounts use device passkeys. The server stores your public display name, passkey records, encrypted hashes of the guardian PIN and recovery details, and creations and previews that you choose to publish. Public pages show the creation title, public display name, preview, and interaction counts.
Essential cookies and view counts
Sign-in uses an essential cookie. Creation pages also set a random visitor identifier and use a keyed digest to avoid counting repeat views from the same visitor on the same day. This does not read your real name, contacts, or precise location.
Campaign measurement
To understand whether public promotion brings useful visits, the site sends anonymous page events to the same domain. The campaign log records only the time, page type, previous page type, allowlisted UTM channel values, and the category of the referring website. It does not record IP addresses, cookies, full URLs, creation IDs, or site user IDs, and is kept for about 30 days. We use it to compare page views and visits that move from a landing page into the builder.
Third-party analytics and advertising
The site currently uses no third-party advertising or third-party analytics scripts.
Managing creations
After signing in, you can remove your public creations from your account page. Removed creations disappear from the Gallery and public profile. Existing remixes keep their creator's content and source credit.
Contact
Use Report on a creation page for content that is unsuitable for children, infringes rights, or is spam. For other questions, contact the maintainers through GitHub Issues.
